Control light
with a touch
Make everyday light control easier with custom motorized blinds and shades from WestBlinds. We help Montreal homeowners and businesses choose the right fabric, motor and control system for their windows. From hard-to-reach shades to several windows in one room, our team handles the consultation, final measurements, installation and setup. Explore fabric samples during a free in-home consultation or visit our Décarie showroom by appointment.
Made to fit your routine
Choose solar, light-filtering or blackout fabrics to suit how you use each room. We measure every opening and help you select a system that suits the shade size, window access and available power.
Rechargeable or wired motors
Rechargeable systems can be a practical choice where a power connection is not available. Wired motors may suit renovations or projects with planned electrical access. We will explain the options for your windows before you order.
Remote, app and smart-home control
A remote can control a single shade or a group of shades. App control, schedules and smart-home integration depend on the motor and control system selected; some setups require a compatible hub. We check compatibility with you rather than assuming every motor works with every platform.
Motorized curtain tracks
A motorized track can open and close your custom curtains. We assess the layout, fabric weight, clearances and available power before recommending a system. Explore our custom curtains or compare roller shades and zebra blinds for your space.
From consultation to installation
Your project starts with a free consultation, fabric selection and precise measurements. Once you approve your quote, we order your made-to-measure shades, install them and show you how to use the controls. We serve residential and commercial spaces in Montreal.
Motorization questions
Can you motorize blinds I already own?
Our motorization service is for new custom window coverings. We do not offer motor retrofits for third-party blinds.
Do I need a hub?
Not for every system. Remote, app and smart-home requirements vary by motor. We will recommend the controls and any accessories your chosen setup needs.
How much do motorized blinds cost?
The total depends on the window dimensions, fabric, motor, power supply and controls. A consultation lets us prepare a quote for the complete installation.
